Who We Are

Clarissa Clarke co-director and owner started Nor’easter Lacrosse with Laura Field seven years ago.  Since it’s inception it has become one of the most highly sought after lacrosse clubs in Connecticut.  Clarke and Field have tremendous connections in the lacrosse community and are able to provide consistently high quality coaches for all of their teams throughout the year.  They have build a lacrosse club that is becoming one of the most widely respected both among parents and players in Connecticut, college coaches, and the whole lacrosse community.

CLARISSA CLARKE : Co-Director, Mid-field Attack Specialist, and Coach

The 2003 Yale captain, Clarke returned to coach for five seasons on the Bulldog staff. As a senior, she helped lead Yale to the NCAA Tournament and was named IWLCA/US Lacrosse Regional Second Team All-American. She also earned multiple All-Ivy honors during her career. Clarke was selected to the Academic All-American Team her senior year.  Clarke is fifth on Yale’s career goals scored list with 114.  She joined Madison Youth Lacrosse in ’04 and runs a winter training program for them, as well as coaching girl’s grades 3-8 in the spring.

 

 

 

 

 

LAURA FIELD : Co-Director, Goalkeeping Specialist, and Coach

A 2000 graduate of Princeton University, Laura was named the Interim Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Yale in the fall of 2007 and coached for seven seasons at Yale before joining the Fairfield University Staff in 2008. A three-time All-Ivy pick for the Tigers, Field played in two NCAA final eight games as well as the National Championship her senior year. She also won an Ivy League championship and ranks fourth on Princeton’s overall career saves list.  She has worked as a youth coach for Madison girls and coaches throughout the summer at some of the most competitive recruiting camps on the east coast.

AMY ARCHAMBAULT
Amy Archambault is a 2008 graduate from the College of the Holy Cross. During her career as a Crusader, she was named the 2005 Patriot League Rookie of the Year and earned first-team and second-team All-Patriot League honors for consecutive years. She played on two Patriot League championship teams that earned automatic bids to the NCAA Championships in 2006 and 2007. After the 2007 season, she was invited to play for the USA Athletes International team competing in Australia. In 2008, she received the John A. Meegan Athletic Achievement Award from the College’s Varsity Club.

Upon graduation, in 2009, Archambault served as a Volunteer Assistant at Trinity College while continuing to work with Nor’easter Lacrosse. After completing a Visual Arts Fellowship at the College and contributing to the Bantam’s successful season in the NESCAC, she went on to pursue her Masters of Fine Arts degree at the University of Pennsylvania where she served as a Strength & Conditioning Assistant in 2010 and Volunteer Assistant for the Women’s Lacrosse Ivy League Champions in 2011. Archambault continues to coach throughout the region and abroad. Summer of 2011, she was named Head Coach of the USA Athletes International team competing in Germany and earned 2nd place in the Berlin Open.

Archambault is currently Studio Coordinator / Lecturer at the College of the Holy Cross and resides in Massachusetts. Though she is no stranger to Connecticut as she was a former graduate of Conard High School, West Hartford. An accomplished artist, she continues to generate connections between the art world and athletic domain.
